Vizi: Where and when did you take that winning photo? What is the story behind the picture?
Jane: My mother who lives in Freeport, Ohio was sick in the hospital with COVID. The hospital was in Cleveland, Ohio. I commuted an hour and half daily from Freeport to Cleveland, Ohio to visit her. One night, when I came “home” to my mother’s house, I saw the moon positioned just right above the lantern with the candle in it. I was delighted, played around with the camera, took a few shots and came up with this picture.
Vizi: What equipment did you use for that shoot?
Jane: Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max
Vizi: Is there any thoughts or advice you would like to share?
Jane: Anything can happen in your life. Cherish every moment, and cherish your loved ones. I am so glad that my mother recovered from COVID.
