Vizi: Tell us about your introduction to photography. What drew you into this world?
Elizabeth: I am not a photographer. I am a runner myself and I have been running almost all my life. While running, I always see many things that are photo-worthy.
Vizi: Where and when did you take that winning photo? Is there a story behind the picture?
Elizabeth: It was taken on a cold day in February 2022 at Grandview Forest Park in Gig Harbor, Washington. While running, I spotted the two carved owls and decided to take a picture.
Vizi: What equipment did you use for that shoot?
Elizabeth: I used an iPhone 12 Pro.
Vizi: What advice would you give someone who would like to become a photographer or a Vizi Affiliate?
Elizabeth: If people have photos on their smartphones, they should try to enter Vizi’s weekly contests and they could win $365, just like I did! It was fun and they could have fun too!
