Vizi: Where and when did you take that winning photo? What is the story behind the picture?
Etta: It was early one morning on a foggy day in Cadiz, Ohio. My sister and I felt the urge to go out and take pictures in the fog. We went to a few places and took some pictures. This one stood out as the best picture. I just adore how the photo turned out with the lily flower being reflected in the still water. I think that yellow water lily flowers are just simply beautiful!
Vizi: What equipment did you use for that shoot?
Etta: Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max - 77mm
Vizi: Is there any thoughts or advice you would like to share?
Etta: If you feel pressed for time with the contests, tell yourself that it will be worth it - just make the time to do it! You can get ideas from the internet of what pictures to take or where to get those pictures taken. It will be worth it. It will pay off. Be creative and be real. Put serious thought into your pictures. Avoid doing a rush job and trying to fake it with fabric backgrounds and so forth. Be sure that there are not any distractions in the picture that will cause people to lose focus on the beauty of the photo.
