After dropping my son off to Gallaudet - it was his first year there - I needed some solace so I chose to drive through Blue Ridge Parkway. I slept overnight at one of the overlooks and woke up seeing the total mist. I walked around, looked up on the forest - oh my it was beautiful before I headed out for more scenery after this.
